Queen Silvia of Sweden visited the Silviahemmet's Day Centre (German: Tagesstaette der Malteser fuer Menschen in der Fruehphase der Demenz) on November 13, 2015 in Munich, Germany. Silviahemmet is a non profit foundation devoted to improving the quality of life for persons affected by dementia and their families. The Foundation was inaugurated by H.M. Queen Silvia on Valentines Day in 1996. The Silviahemmet care philosophy aims at highest quality of life for the person affected by dementia.
